Event overview
Run4Lighthouse 2026 is a fundraising walk and run held on May 30, 2026 at Spencer Smith Park, 1400 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario. The event supports Lighthouse for Grieving Children & Families, which reports supporting over 400 children, youth, and their families each year and does not receive government funding. The event includes two main distances:

- 5K
There are separate adult and child entry categories and a virtual option for participants who complete a 1K or 5K on their own time. Chip timing is used for at least some in-person 5K categories; medals are awarded to all participants. Logistics and facilities
The venue is on Burlington waterfront with free weekend parking available in municipal lots. About 400 free parking spots are noted at the municipal parking garage on Locust Street near the Burlington Performing Arts Centre; additional municipal lots are listed nearby. Event facilities include bag check, accessible washrooms and handwashing stations, and food and beverage vendors. Activities for children include a bouncy castle and slide. Organizers encourage sustainable travel such as carpooling, public transit, or cycling.
