Run4Lighthouse 2026
Run4Lighthouse takes place on May 30, 2026 at Spencer Smith Park, 1400 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario. The event raises funds for Lighthouse for Grieving Children & Families, which supports over 400 children, youth, and their families each year. Funds help sustain grief support groups offered free of charge, as the organization does not receive government funding.

- 1K walk or run, in person and virtual
- 5K walk or run, in person and virtual
On-site amenities include a bag check, accessible washrooms and handwashing facilities, and food and beverage offerings from partners. There will be children’s activities such as a bouncy castle and slide. Weekend municipal parking is free with about 400 spots available at the Locust Street municipal garage and additional municipal lots nearby. Organizers encourage carpooling, public transit and cycling to improve sustainability.
The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and a Health and Safety Plan and Emergency Management Plan are in place. Fundraising features prizes for top individual and team fundraisers including school categories. As of the event listing, CA$95,129.13 has been raised toward a CA$200,000 goal.
