America’s 250th Birthday Freedom Run in San Antonio
The Alamo Chapter of the Military Intelligence Corps Association organizes a commemorative run and walk on June 27, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas. The event marks America's 250th birthday and takes place at Pavilion 2, 13102 Jones Maltzberger.
Available race options include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 1 mile Kids Dash
Registration fees are listed per event: the 5 km is $30, the 10 km is $35, the Kids Dash and youth pricing for ages 12 and under is $10. Nonprofit booth registrations are offered as a 10x10 booth for $100 and a 20x20 booth for $150. Registrations have specific open and close dates for each event, and a shirt size guarantee applies for registrations completed by midnight on June 4.
Participants receive a commemorative designer shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a custom bib. The event uses professional chip timing with live results and offers free professional photos and snacks at the finish area. Packet pickup and late registration are available on race day. Awards and live results are provided immediately at the registration tent after the races conclude.
The Kids Dash is untimed and intended for children age 10 and under; it includes a mini bib, youth shirt, and a kids' medal. Children may participate without receiving shirt or medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
