America's Birthday Freedom Run
The America's Birthday Freedom Run is a fundraising run/walk hosted by the Alamo Chapter of the Military Intelligence Corps Association in San Antonio, Texas. The event marks the 250th anniversary of American independence and takes place at 13102 Jones Maltzberger, San Antonio, TX 78232.
The event offers timed road races with chip timing and live results, custom bibs, a commemorative 250th birthday shirt, and a finisher medal. Professional photos and snacks are available at the finish area. Packet pickup and late registration are available on race day. Awards and live results are posted at the registration tent after the finish.
A Kids Dash is offered for ages 10 and under as an untimed dash; participants in that dash receive a mini bib, youth shirt, and a kids' medal. Children may participate without receiving a shirt or medal at no cost. Youth pricing for participants 10 and under is listed at ten dollars. Registrants who want a preferred shirt size are advised to register by June 4th to guarantee availability.
Proceeds from the event support a scholarship mission managed by the host chapter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
