American Heroes Half Marathon, 10K, 5K
The American Heroes running event takes place on May 23, 2026 in Bellevue, Nebraska, centered at American Heroes Park (Country Hwy H10, 68005). The event offers the following distances:

- 10K
- 5K
All courses start and finish at American Heroes Park and use parts of the Bellevue Loop trail. Terrain includes city streets and paved trails; the half marathon course also includes sections of dirt road. Aid stations are provided at approximately every 2 miles. A time limit of 4 hours applies to the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026 at Peak Performance, 3512 Samson Way Suite 212, Bellevue, NE 68123, and race day pickup is available at American Heroes Park. Parking at American Heroes Park is limited; overflow parking is at Haworth Park, south of Mission Ave.
Registration opens October 3, 2025 and closes January 1, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $55 for the half marathon, $45 for the 10K, and $32 for the 5K. Registration includes professional timing, a race shirt, a custom finisher medal, snacks, age group awards, and top finisher awards. Shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after April 20. Refunds are not issued, but registrations may be deferred to a future race. The event is held rain or shine and may be canceled or postponed for dangerous conditions. Strollers and dogs are allowed; participants are asked to be mindful of other runners.
