About the race
The American Heroes Run takes place on May 29, 2027, in Bellevue, Nebraska, with events that start and finish at American Heroes Park. The event offers multiple distances and a course that uses parts of American Heroes Park, Old Town Bellevue, and the Bellevue Loop Trail.

The courses run on a mix of city streets and paved trails. Aid stations are located at approximately every 2 miles. The half marathon course has a course time limit of 4 hours with an 11:00 AM cutoff. Parking at American Heroes Park is limited; overflow parking is available at Haworth Park, south of Mission Avenue.
Registration details vary by event. Listed registration fees include $55 for the half marathon, $45 for the 10K, and $35 for the 5K. Bundle options are also offered with separate fees. Race registration and shirt availability are subject to deadlines; shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after April 30, 2027.
Packet pickup is available Friday, May 28, 2027, 3:00–6:00 PM at Peak Performance, 3512 Samson Way, Suite 212, Bellevue, NE 68123, and race day packet pickup is 6:00–6:45 AM. Professional race timing, a race shirt, a custom finisher medal, post-race snacks, and awards are provided. Refunds will not be issued; deferral requests may be made by May 22, 2027, and race items can be mailed for a $10 shipping fee. The race is scheduled rain or shine and may be canceled or postponed if conditions present a danger to participants. The charity partner is Wounded Warrior Family Support.
