Event Overview
The American Hero 25K Relay & Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The event is held at Comanche Park, located at 2600 Rigsby Ave in San Antonio. The park is connected to the Salado Creek Greenway, which provides the trails for the race courses.

Course and Logistics
The race course is described as fast and flat, using the scenic Salado Creek Greenway trails. The 25K relay uses a looped 5k course, while the half marathon is an out-and-back route.
Packet pickup is mandatory and scheduled for May 23 and 24 at the IRUN Broadway store in San Antonio. There is no race day registration. All participants receive a medal and a T-shirt. Free food and refreshments are provided for registered participants.
