America250 Gem County 5K Walk/Run
The America250 Gem County event takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Emmett City Park in Emmett, Idaho. The program offers two distances and a community focus; a portion of registration fees supports local running teams and clubs.

The course begins and ends at Emmett City Park and proceeds to the Gem State Athletic Complex for one lap before returning along the same route in reverse. The organizer describes the 5K course as flat. Timing is electronic; chip timing is provided by Omni Go! Custom Event Solutions.
Awards are given on the podium to the top three finishers in each age category, with male and female awards presented separately. Age categories include 1-11, 12-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Post-race hydration and nutrition are available.
Bib pickup is available before race day at local Fleet Feet locations in Meridian and Nampa, and there is on-site pickup near the start area on race day. Scholarships or fee assistance can be arranged through the race director. The event is stroller friendly; dogs are not permitted due to insurance and sanctioning rules.
