America250 Gem County 5K & 1-Miler : Emmett, Idaho
The event is a community running event held at Gem Island Sports Complex in Emmett, Idaho on July 4, 2026. It includes two distances and uses an out and back course that follows the Payette River Path. The start and finish are located at the sports complex.

The 5K has a turnaround at about 1.55 miles and the 1 Mile has a turnaround at about 0.5 mile. The trail is described as fairly wide; participants should stay to the right because runners will be traveling in the opposite direction after the turnaround. The event is chip timed, with timing provided by Omni Go! Custom Event Soluions.
Registration details include entry fees of $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile, with youth discounts applied for participants 18 and under once birth date information is entered. Registration opens and closes on set dates. Bib pickup is available before race day at Fleet Feet locations and on race day at Gem Island Sports Complex.
Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age category, awarded separately by male and female divisions. The race is stroller friendly; dogs are not permitted due to USATF insurance requirements. A portion of registration fees benefits local running teams and clubs, and scholarships are available for participants with financial hardship.
