Event overview
The Amazing Race: Chamber Series is an inaugural team event presented by the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce on March 28, 2026, in New Smyrna Beach, FL (520 Barracuda Blvd). The course is a 5-mile route through the town and includes more than 20 obstacles. Challenges will include puzzles, problem-solving, and physical tasks. Participants should expect to get wet at some points and must keep shoes on for safety. All racers must wear the official event shirt during the route and keep their race bibs clearly visible. Shirt sizes offered are Small, Medium, Large, and XL.
Registration and rules
Teams consist of exactly two racers. Entry is priced at $150 per team ($75 per person) and registration is capped at 200 people. Racers must be at least 10 years old; teams including participants aged 10–15 must also include at least one racer aged 18 or older. Only registered racers are allowed on the course; spectators may use designated viewing areas or volunteer. If a racer cannot continue, volunteers will assist and arrange transport or medical care as needed. Organizers state that no participant will be asked to lift unreasonably heavy items.
