Alvin ISD Education Foundation Turtle Race 5K & Kids 1K Family Fun Run
The event takes place on February 20, 2027 at Liberty Alumni Hall / Freedom Field, 10855 Iowa Colony Blvd., Rosharon, TX 77583. Registrants receive a 2027 Turtle Race Fun Run shirt while sizes last. All race finishers receive a participant medal while supplies last.

The 5K is a timed race with results provided online by Run Houston Timing. Course number TX16115ETM is assigned to the event. Pricing is tiered: early bird rates apply through February 2 ($35 5K adult, $30 5K student, $25 1K kids), online registration increases January 28 through February 19, and higher rates apply for on-site race day registration.
Awards are given to the top three boys and girls in the kids race; parents may walk or run with their child. The 5K includes age-group categories (13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus) with awards to the top three in each category and overall men’s and women’s awards. Strollers are welcome. Dogs are permitted if leashed and well behaved; owners accept responsibility for their pets.
Early packet pick up is available on February 17 and February 1 at designated locations. Proceeds support Alvin ISD students and staff through grants and scholarships managed by the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, a 501c3 organization.
