Altrincham 10K, 5 September 2027
The Altrincham 10K takes place in Altrincham town centre on 5 September 2027. The race covers 10 km on tarmac and is described by the organiser as a fast route with full road closures around the town centre.
The route starts and finishes in the town centre and has an elevation gain of 68 m. Results are chip timed. Entry includes a themed medal, free race photos, post race goodies and a secure bag drop. An optional event t-shirt is available to add during entry.
Event services include an event village with food and drink options, portable toilets near the village, and water stations at the 5 km point and at the finish. Race packs are collected from the event village on the day. Baggage is tagged to the race number and collected from a secure area after the race.
Transport access is focused on public transport with the tram and train stations a short walk from the event village; there are multiple town centre car parks nearby. Spectators are welcome and are advised to use the event village to view the start and finish and to observe road closures if moving onto the course.
The event supports The Christie Charity, which funds research, treatments and patient care at a regional cancer centre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
