Alpha Law Group Autism 5K : overview
The Alpha Law Group Autism 5K is the organizer's 2nd Annual benefit run held on March 7, 2026, at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota, FL. The event raises awareness and funds for autism support and will directly benefit the Autism Society of Florida and The Haven of Sarasota. Entry fees listed on the event page include a $30 entry for the 5K (price increases after February 7, 2026), a $25 fee for the Autism Mile, and a $40 fee for the Virtual 5K. The virtual entry requires no bib and participants run their own course and submit times online. Race-day registration is available online the morning of the event for $50. The course is an out-and-back that begins near the finish tower on the island; parking is on the island near the rowing finish tower. Awards for the 5K include overall and masters categories by sex and multiple age-group placings, with awards going six deep in each 5-year age group. Overall and masters results are recorded as gun time. Walkers are welcome, and children or strollers are asked to start toward the back.
