Event overview
The Alpha Law Group Autism 5K is the organizer's 2nd Annual Autism Benefit 5K, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event raises funds and awareness for autism support and will directly benefit the Autism Society of Florida and The Haven of Sarasota. Walkers are welcome. Packet pick-up is listed as TBD.

Registration and fees
Regular registration fees listed in the event information are: 5K $30 ($20 for ages 1-17), Mile $25 ($20 for ages 1-17), and Virtual 5k $40. The price for the 5K increases after February 7, 2026. On-site registration the morning of the race is available for $50. Registrations after February 14, 2026 are not guaranteed an event shirt once online inventory is depleted. The Autism Mile registration ends on March 7, 2026.
Location and course
The event takes place at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota, FL 34235, near University Town Center. The 5K course is an out-and-back that begins near the finish tower on the island. Parking is planned on the island near the rowing finish tower.
Awards
Awards are given six deep in each five-year age group, with overall and masters categories. Additional overall and age-based award categories include Master, Grand Master, Senior Master, and Veteran Master. Overall and masters results use gun time.
