About the event
Along the Vines features running and walking events held in the heart of Windsor-Essex County’s wine route in Ontario. Based in Harrow, the event starts and finishes at the Colchester Ridge Estate Winery (CREW). The course is set along the shoulder of County Road 50 East, providing a scenic and flat route through the region's vineyard landscapes.
Participants follow a path that passes local landmarks including North 42 Degrees Estate Winery and Viewpointe Estate Winery. The shorter distance turnaround point is located just before Ravine Cottages, while the longer course continues past Oxley, looping back toward the finish line before reaching Paglione Estate Winery. The course is entirely on-road and is fully wheelchair accessible.

Following the races, a community market experience is held at the finish area involving local vendors and interactive activities such as a cold plunge for recovery. Food options for the post-race celebration can be pre-purchased. The event also serves as a fundraiser, with 50% of ticket sales donated to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
