Strides for Adam 5K : March 29, 2026, Riverview, MI
The Strides for Adam 5K is scheduled for March 29, 2026, at Riverview Community Center, 14300 Library Dr, Riverview, MI 48193. This will be the seventh annual edition. The event supports a nonprofit that raises awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, provides scholarships for local students, and benefits local student athletes. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

Registration pricing varies by age and date. Early registration through March 15 is listed as $30 for participants over 18 and $25 for those 18 and under; prices increase in later registration windows and are higher on race day. Groups of three or more registering together receive a $5 discount each. Donation levels offer discounted or free entries at specified amounts and deadlines.
Finishers receive t-shirts and finisher medals; t-shirts are guaranteed through March 15 while supplies last. The finisher medal is described as honeycomb-shaped with black and yellow colors and includes design elements noted as 23 rays of sun and 16 bees. Overall and age-group awards are planned for the 5K run and overall awards for the 5K walk; the 1 mile walk and virtual participants are not eligible for awards. Early packet pickup is available March 26–28 at Total Runner in Southgate; race day packet pickup is at the race location. Results will be posted live and on the event page.
