Let Freedom Run
Asia’s Little Ones and Project Rescue organize the seventh annual Let Freedom Run on June 20, 2026 at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park in Springfield, Missouri. The event offers in-person and virtual options to raise funds for Happy Horizons Children’s Ranch, with all profits supporting anti-trafficking ministries and care for more than 50 girls aged 3 to 20, including therapy, counseling, schooling, and full time care.
In-person choices include:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk
- Virtual run or walk with participant chosen distance
In-person participants will have a brief time of prayer for those affected by trafficking. Male and female winners of the 5K run will be recognized and sponsor partners will be honored. The one mile course is fully paved and is stroller friendly. Parts of the 5K course include gravel and strollers or wagons are not recommended on that course. The event will be held rain or shine except in cases of lightning. Pets should be left at home unless they are service animals.
Registration details note a custom Let Freedom Run shirt for registrations completed before May 26, 2026 and a fee increase after that date. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian signature. Packet pickup for in-person participants is scheduled for June 19, 2026 at Fleet Feet, 1254 Republic Road, Springfield, MO; virtual participant packets will be mailed in May with an added shipping fee.
