Event Overview
The Freedom Run is an annual athletic event held in Springfield, Missouri, organized to support Asia’s Little Ones and Project Rescue. This seventh edition of the race directs all proceeds to the Happy Horizons Children's Ranch, which provides therapy, counseling, schooling, and full-time care for over 50 girls aged 3 to 20.
The event takes place at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park. Timing services for the run are provided by Heartland Race Co. using chip-timing technology. Participants can also pick up their event packets on the day prior to the race at the Fleet Feet location on Republic Road.
Course and Categories
Participants can select from multiple event formats depending on their preference:
- 5k Run
- 1 Mile Walk
- Virtual Run/Walk
Additional Features
All registered participants are automatically entered into a drawing for gift certificates from Fleet Feet. This drawing is conducted at the conclusion of the event activities.
