The 1/4th Run - Springfield, MO
The 1/4th Run is an Independence Day athletic event held in Springfield, Missouri. The race takes place on a specific course designed with flat and fast 1/2 mile loops. A technical feature of this event is the tracking of individual 1/4 mile split times for every participant, regardless of the total distance selected.
Participants can choose from three distinct running distances:
- 1 Mile Sprint
- 3 Mile Run
- 4 Mile Run
The event location is situated at 2340 S Eastgate Ave. Runners are encouraged to wear patriotic clothing to celebrate the holiday. Upon completing their respective distances, participants receive a patriotic-themed medal. In addition to the commemorative medal, the event provide a hot steak prepared on a grill for those who finish the course.
