Event overview

The Alnwick Castle Trail Runs take place at Alnwick Castle and the surrounding grounds. The event uses routes that start and finish by the River Aln and pass through Hulne Park, the Priory, and parts of the castle grounds. Two distances are offered:

10km (age 15+)
Half Marathon (13.10m, age 15+)

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. The route maps for both distances are published by the organiser.

Facilities, entries and charity

All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a snack and a drink. An event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12 at registration. Free on-site parking is available for participants. Entry fees are listed in the range of £27 to £32. The event donates £4 from every entry to NE Youth.
