Event Information
The 52nd Annual Almond Bowl event takes place on November 1, 2026, in Lower Bidwell Park in Chico, California. The event offers two distances: a 5K and a 10K.
Course and Location
Both races start on South Park Drive and finish near Sycamore Field. The courses are described as flat, fast loops through Lower Bidwell Park, with the 10K having three aid stations and the 5K having two. The park will be closed to vehicle traffic on race day.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available online and in-person only during packet pickup. Online registration closes on October 30, 2026. The entry fee includes a race shirt from Upper Park Clothing, a race bib, and post-race snacks. To guarantee a shirt, participants must register by October 9, 2026. A cash prize is offered to the top male and female finisher in each race. Age group awards are also given.
