Allithwaite 8

The Allithwaite 8 is a popular running event taking place in the picturesque Cartmel peninsula of the southern Lake District. Now in its 8th year, this friendly race covers approximately 8 miles (13 km) of trail, fell, and some road, featuring a total ascent of around 1080 ft (330m). The event is well-marshalled and waymarked, starting at the Allithwaite Community Centre.

Participants must be at least 16 years old, and off-road shoes are recommended. Entry fees support local causes, and prizes are awarded for top finishers.
