Allergy Awareness Action 5k
The Allergy Awareness Action 5k is a community running event organized by The Greater Buffalo Food Allergy Alliance, Inc. It is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at The Fattey Beer Company, 4226 North Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY 14127. The course distance is 3.1 miles and strollers are permitted on the course.
Electronic timing will be provided by Score This Timing. Two organizations are listed as top sponsors and will have information tables at the event: Buffalo Amherst Allergy and Genentech. The event is presented as a family-oriented walk or run to raise and spread awareness about life-threatening allergies.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Greater Buffalo Food Allergy Alliance, Allergy Advocates NY, and FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education). The registration fee listed is $25.00; the fee includes a race shirt, an awareness bracelet, allergy-safe food items, water, a BOGO beer offer, epinephrine delivery device training, allergy awareness information, and music.
Awards are planned for overall male and female finishers, master level trophies, and medals for the top three finishers in each age group.
