Allergy Awareness Action 5k
The Allergy Awareness Action 5k is the third annual community run and walk held on May 16, 2026 in Orchard Park, NY. The event is based at The Fattey Beer Company and uses electronic timing provided by a timing company.
The event raises and spreads awareness about life threatening food allergies. Proceeds are donated to The Greater Buffalo Food Allergy Alliance and to Food Allergy Research and Education. Registration fees include a race shirt, an awareness bracelet, allergy safe food items, water, a BOGO beer offer, Epinephrine delivery device training, allergy awareness information and music.
Pre race packet pickup is available at the venue on the day before the event and packet pickup is also offered on race morning at the same location. Additional fundraising activities at the event include basket raffles, a 50 50 raffle and awareness lawn signs available for donation. Lawn signs can be purchased in the name of someone to note what they are allergic to; signs are placed along the course or at the post event area.
Information tables at the event will offer allergy resources and Epi Pen training. Strollers are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
