Buffalo Marathon Weekend
The Buffalo Marathon Weekend spans events listed between November 14, 2026 and May 30, 2027 and marks the 26th anniversary in 2027. The event base is the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center at 153 Franklin Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.
Multiple race formats are included across the weekend, with key distances and offerings such as:
- 26.2 Miles Full Marathon
- 13.1 Miles Half Marathon
- 3.1 Miles 5K Run and 5K Walk
- 1K Ruffalo Stampede Dog Run
- 2 Miles Plogging Run
Additional events include kids races for ages 1-8, a Diaper Dash, pacer roles, and a community run scheduled on November 14, 2026 at Banshees Irish Pub with group distances of 3.5 miles and 5 miles in a non-competitive, run/walk format that includes a community gathering, Q&A, and introductions to local run clubs.
A VIP upgrade is offered for some marathon and half marathon entries; listed benefits include priority packet pick-up, an exclusive VIP tent or room with private restrooms, VIP parking, pre- and post-race refreshments, a private post-race recovery zone, and special VIP swag. Limited spots are available for the VIP upgrade.
