Buffalo Marathon Weekend
Buffalo Marathon Weekend is scheduled for May 23 to May 24, 2026, at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in Buffalo, NY. The two-day program marks the event's 25th anniversary and features multiple race options and community fundraisers.

The course is presented as a Boston Marathon qualifier and runs through city streets, parks, and waterways in Buffalo. Several community race entries list proceeds that benefit local health organizations, including cardiac programs at Buffalo General and GVI, and Children's Hospital.
Registration changes such as deferrals, race transfers, and participant transfers close April 30, 2026. The event has a no refunds policy. Registration insurance is available at the time of registration for 7.5% of the registration cost including processing fee, with a minimum charge of $8.99. That insurance is described as covering recovery of registration cost and fees for specified reasons and is underwritten by Jefferson Insurance Company with administration recommended by AGA Service Company.
