The event uses a cross country style 10k loop. The loop runs on wide, maintained trails with tree canopy and has about 200 feet of elevation gain per loop. Portions of the course are used for NCAA Division II regional competition.
Relay format and cutoffs The relay is a five person team with each runner completing the 10k loop for a total of 50k. Regardless of race distance, competitors must start their final lap by 4:30 PM.
Awards Overall top three male and female awards are given for the 10k, 30k, and 50k. Team awards are presented for All Male Team, All Female Team, and Coed Team with a minimum of two female members.
