ALCAL Scoop Scoot 2026
ALCAL Scoop Scoot is a family friendly community fundraiser held in William Land Park in Sacramento. The event raises money for local nonprofit programs and lists Project R.I.D.E., Ronald McDonald House Sacramento, Sutter Children’s Center, and UC Davis Children’s Hospital Child Life Program as beneficiaries. The fundraiser had raised $2,253.93 toward a $20,000 goal.
Participants use a one mile loop inside the park and may start as they choose. Each registered participant receives a numbered bib that also serves as the ticket for a scoop of Leatherby’s Ice Cream. Available scoops include mint chocolate, cookie dough, and vanilla, with chocolate or caramel sauce options. Ice cream service is limited to a capacity of 1,500 scoops. A courtesy beer garden is available for attendees aged 21 and older.
Registration is required for anyone who wants a scoop or access to the beer garden; registration fees increase after the early registration period and are higher on the day of the event. Bib pickup takes place at the start/finish area on the event day. The event is presented as a community gathering with music and an informal loop course inside the park.
