ALCAL Scoop Scoot 2026
ALCAL Scoop Scoot is a family friendly community event in William Land Park, Sacramento that raises funds for local nonprofits. The event features ice cream provided by Leatherby's Family Creamery, music, and a courtesy beer garden for attendees aged 21 and older. Ice cream flavors listed include mint chocolate, cookie dough, and vanilla, with chocolate or caramel sauce available as toppings.
Participants use a 1-mile loop inside the park and may complete as many laps as they choose. Each registered participant receives a numbered bib that serves as a ticket for an ice cream scoop and access to the beer garden when applicable. Ice cream capacity is limited to 1,500 scoops, and registration is required for anyone who wants a scoop or entrance to the beer garden.
Proceeds support several local organizations, including Project R.I.D.E., Ronald McDonald House Sacramento, Sutter Children’s Center Child Life Program, and UC Davis Children’s Hospital Child Life Program. Sponsor contributions cover many event costs so registration fees are reduced. Bib pickup and event check-in occur on the day of the event in the start/finish area in William Land Park.
