Albany Police Department 5K Run/Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness
The 12th Annual Albany Police Department 5K run and walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Jennings Landing, 1 Quay Street, Albany, NY. The event is community based and organized by the Albany Police Department in partnership with other domestic violence agencies to raise awareness about the effects of violence and abuse toward men, women, and children.
Free parking and post-race refreshments are available for participants. The first 150 registrants receive event T-shirts. A cash only raffle will take place as part of the event offerings.
Entry fees are tiered by age group: free for children ages 12 and under, $15 for students ages 13 to 22, and $20 for adults. Discounts for eligible entrants are applied automatically at checkout. Day-of registration is available for $25.
