Barn to Bridge Fall Fest 5K
The 5th Annual Barn to Bridge Fall Fest 5K takes place on the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail in Slingerlands, New York. The course runs from the Hilton Barn area of New Scotland to the finish line across the bridge in Slingerlands. The race coincides with the Fall Fest at the Slingerlands trailhead, which will feature live musical performances, food trucks, vendors, and games and activities as participants approach the finish.
Shuttle service will be available for the event. All participants receive a T-shirt and one free meal ticket. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and Kid's Run participants receive medals.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Organizers request one self-care item donation for survivors of domestic violence and ask that donors select one nicer item rather than multiple smaller items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
