Albany Ave 5K : Massapequa, NY
The Albany Ave 5K is a community run and walk held at Albany Avenue School in Massapequa on May 16, 2026. The event offers a main 5-kilometer distance and a separate fun run for children. The 5K course is USATF certified.
Registration is offered for the 5K Run/Walk and the Fun Run, with options that include race shirts and other add-ons. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event can have their name printed on their bib. All finishers receive a medal. Post-race amenities include refreshments, snacks, and a post-race awards ceremony with professional announcing.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, starting with 12 and under and extending through 75 and older. Proceeds from the event support the Albany Ave School PTA.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Albany Avenue School Heritage Hall and on race day at the same location. Live online and same-day results, plus finish line photos and video, are provided for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
