The 2026 Albany Ave 5K Massapequa is a community run organized at Albany Avenue School, 101 N. Albany, Massapequa, NY 11758, on May 16, 2026. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a timed Fun Run. The course is USATF certified.

Registration options published include early bird and race day pricing (example: 5K Run/Walk listed at $38.98 early bird and $44.15 race day; Fun Run listed at $13.10 early bird and $15.17 race day). There are discounts of $5 for students and $5 for staff. Some registration options note a t-shirt guarantee by May 3 and the ability to have a name printed on a bib if registered about three weeks before the event.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Albany Avenue School Heritage Hall (cafeteria) and on race morning at the same location. All finishers receive a medal. Amenities include refreshments, snacks, t-shirts, a post-race awards ceremony, and professional announcing for start, finish and awards.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall and to the top three male and female in age groups (12 & under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75+).
