Albany Ave 5K : Massapequa
This event is a community road race held at Albany Avenue School in Massapequa, NY, with on-site activities organized by the school PTA. The program includes a USATF certified 5K and a separate children's fun run. Registration is not yet open; the organizer will open registration prior to the event.

Amenities include finisher medals for all finishers, refreshments and snacks, event T-shirts, a post-race awards ceremony, and professional start, finish and awards announcing. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age divisions from 12 and under through 75 and over. The children's fun run awards a medal to first place finishers.
Pre-registration packet pick-up is scheduled the evening before the event at Albany Avenue School Heritage Hall and there is race day packet pick-up and on-site registration at the same location. Registering several weeks in advance makes personalized race numbers available. Live online, email and text results are provided, along with free video and same-day finish line photos.
