Event details
The Albany Ave 5K is scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Massapequa, New York at Albany Avenue School, 101 N. Albany. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Fun Run (timed). All finishers receive a medal; Fun Run first-place finishers also receive a medal. The 5K course is USATF certified.

Registration and race items
Registration fees include a processing fee. Example prices listed are $38.98 (early) and $44.15 (race day) for the 5K, and $13.10 (early) and $15.17 (race day) for the Fun Run. T-shirts are offered and are guaranteed for registrations completed by 5/3. Discounts of $5 are available for students and staff. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Awards, amenities and beneficiary
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups (12 & under through 75+). Amenities listed include refreshments, snacks, t-shirts, a post-race awards ceremony, and professional announcing. Live online results, same-day finish line photos, and free video are provided. All proceeds support the Albany Ave School PTA.
Packet pick-up
Pre-registration packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, 5/15 at Heritage Hall (cafeteria). Race day packet pick-up and registration are scheduled at Heritage Hall the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
