45th Annual Corporate Cup
The Corporate Cup is a community event held in Omaha, Nebraska, held in support of the American Lung Association. The event takes place at Aksarben Village and features courses that run through Elmwood Park and the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) campus. Participants can choose between several distance options based on their preference for running or walking.
The available event distances include:
- 10 km - A professionally timed route featuring rolling hills through Aksarben Village, Elmwood Park, and the UNO campus.
- 5 km - A flat, professionally timed or untimed course through Aksarben Village and Elmwood Park.
- 1 mile - An untimed walking route located within Aksarben Village.
- 100 yard dash - A non-competitive run designed for children aged 5-10.
- Virtual option - A remote participation category for those unable to attend the physical location.
The event serves as a platform to support lung health research, education, and advocacy. Participants can register as individuals or as part of corporate teams. The 5 km course is specifically noted for its flat terrain, while the 10 km course introduces 6.2 miles of undulating landscape.
