AKF Walk & Run Atlanta

AKF Walk & Run Atlanta, organized by the Aga Khan Foundation USA, takes place at Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta on November 15, 2026. The event combines a timed road race and a free walk inside the ballpark, with additional family activities and festival offerings across the site.

There are two main participation options:

• 5K chip timed and USATF certified with three water stations
• The Walk free untimed route inside Truist Park with a step free option

The 5K uses a certified course that starts and finishes on Battery Avenue and winds through the neighborhood next to the ballpark. Official timing allows for accurate results, official rankings, and qualification for other races. The walk begins inside Truist Park, follows the concourse and a lap of the warning track, and finishes out of the left field gate. Everyone attending must register, including children; the walk is free and the 5K has tiered entry fees.

On-site programming includes a 100 yard kids dash in age groups, a Children’s Park with batting cages and games, a mindful yoga session, two live music stages, food trucks, an immersive VR experience, and a silent auction. Accessibility support includes a step free route escorted by guest services, a senior drop-off area, and a limited number of wheelchairs available first come, first served.
