Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race
The Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race is an annual road race held on Independence Day weekends. The 2026 edition is the 57th running and brings more than 55,000 runners and walkers to the streets of Atlanta. The course begins at Lenox Square and finishes in Piedmont Park, taking participants through the heart of the city.
The event distance is 10K. For 2026 the race marked a change in title partner for the first time in more than 50 years. The year also coincides with the United States 250th anniversary and Atlanta hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Registration pathways described for recent editions include Atlanta Track Club member registration with guaranteed entry and preferred wave placement, a lottery for nonmembers, a virtual Peachtree option, charity wave entries supporting the Kilometer Kids youth program, and late registration which was listed as closed. Early registration for the 2027 Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race and the 2027 Northside Hospital Polar Opposite Peachtree Road Race was open July 4 to July 11 2026 to allow participants to secure entry into both events at the lowest registration price offered.
Event services and resources noted for participants include participant tracking and live results, participant instructions, wave standards, an expo, commemorative race apparel and medals, youth and high school programs, and volunteer opportunities.
