KHS Athletic Queen 5K Color Run
This event is a color run and walk held on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026, in Keyser, West Virginia. The event supports a candidate for Athletic Queen and Keyser High School athletics. The route begins in front of the Mineral County Health Department along New Creek in Keyser.
Distances offered:
- 3.1 Miles in-person 5K
- 2 Miles walk or run course
- 3.1 Miles virtual 5K option
Participants move along a route where stations will apply bursts of red, white, and blue color to the course. Youth and adult event t shirt sizes are available; registrations completed by August 25 are guaranteed a free event t shirt. Registrations after August 25 do not have a guarantee of t shirt availability.
Registration opens on August 8 and closes on September 6. The registration fee is $20. Race day registrations are allowed. The event includes both in-person and virtual options and a dedicated shorter course that accommodates walkers as well as runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
