Aiden Alexander Memorial 5K for Stillbirths and Infant Loss
This event is the fifth annual fundraising run held in memory of Aiden Alexander. The race is a 5K distance.
Proceeds from the event benefit organizations supporting families affected by stillbirth and infant loss. These include Kain's Comfort, which provides comfort boxes to bereaved mothers in hospitals, and Sarah's Heart, which offers free counseling and support groups.
The course is an out-and-back route on the paved Salado Creek Trail. The run starts at Lady Bird Johnson Park in San Antonio and heads south on the trail. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at a running store in San Antonio. The event will have some food and treats available for participants afterwards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
