AGPMA Run for the Goal 5K
The AGPMA Run for the Goal 5K is an annual fundraiser held at Challenger Seven Memorial Park in Webster, Texas. Now in its 13th year, the event supports martial arts candidates preparing for their summer black belt testing and performance graduation. The race offers two primary event distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids K (open to participants aged 9 and under)
The course is a varied route that includes sections of road, trail, and grassy areas. Due to the terrain, the use of strollers is not recommended. Registered participants for the 5K compete for various awards, including Overall Master and Overall Open categories for both male and female runners. Age group awards are also provided for participants ranging from 9 and under to 70 and older.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at a designated location in Dickinson, or on the morning of the race. Registration includes a race shirt for those who sign up by the late March deadline. The event is organized by Al Garza's Premier Martial Arts and accepts early registrations through February.
