Aggies Staircase

Aggies Staircase is a challenging fell race covering a distance of 4 miles (6.4 km) with an ascent of 1148 feet (350 meters). The event begins at the top of Punstock Road and features a scenic route that includes a climb past Robin Hood's cottage and a steep ascent known as Jacobs Mound. Participants will tackle the steep Aggies Staircase before descending back to the finish line.

Entries for the race open on December 19, 2024, and close on June 23, 2025. The event is organized by the Darwen Dashers and is open to both FRA members and non-members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
