About the race
The Aggies Staircase is a Category AS fell race held in Darwen, UK, covering 4 miles (6.4 km) with a challenging ascent of 1,148 feet (350 meters). The race starts at Punstock Road green and features three major climbs: Jubilee Tower, Jacob’s Mound, and the steepest, Aggies Staircase. The course includes footpaths, tracks, and moorland, with a return route that follows the initial path back to the start.
