About the race
Aggie 5 Miler is a 5 mile road race taking place in St Agnes on 23 June 2027. The race starts and finishes in St Agnes village centre and follows a loop that runs around St Agnes Beacon, down to St Agnes Head, then around Beacon Drive back to the village centre.
The Race HQ is St Agnes Sports Club, Enys Park, TR5 0SS. Registration is at the event HQ and pre-entries must collect their race number on the day. There is no official baggage storage; bags can be left at the club at the owner’s risk. Competitors should allow extra time because it is a 1200 m walk from the car park and Race HQ to the start line. Parking is limited; free parking is available at the sports club car park, a small number of spaces are at the pay and display car park by St Agnes Library with the first 90 minutes free, and some on-road parking is available in nearby housing estates. Marshals will be stationed at the sports club car park.
Entries are limited to 400 places. The event is round 7 of the Cornish Grand Prix Running Series. Minimum age is 15 or older. Entry fees are shown as UKA member £16.00 and non member £18.00. The race is chip timed; placings are awarded using gun to chip time and timing chips must be worn on the ankle and returned after the race.
MP3 players and other personal audio devices including bone conducting headphones are banned. Dogs, wheelchairs, wheeled carriages and cycles are not permitted and competitors may not be accompanied or followed. Toilets are available at Race HQ and there are extra public toilets near the start. Food and drink can be purchased from local village businesses. Prizes include men’s and women’s placings by age categories and team prizes for the first three male and first three female teams with six to count.
