Aggie 5 Miler
The Aggie 5 Miler is a five mile road race held in St Agnes, Cornwall. The course starts and finishes in the village centre and takes runners around St Agnes Beacon, down to St Agnes Head, then follows a loop around Beacon Drive back to the village centre. After a test event in 2025, the race returns in 2026 as round 7 of the Cornish Grand Prix Running Series. Places are limited to 400 entries and the event currently operates a waiting list.
Race administration is based at St Agnes Sports Club, Enys Park, TR5 0SS. Pre-entered competitors must collect their race number on the day and race numbers must not be folded, cut or mutilated. There is no official baggage storage; bags may be left at the club at the owner’s risk. Note that the walk from the car park and Race HQ to the start line is about 1200 metres.
Parking at the Race HQ is limited. Free parking is available at the sports club car park, with a small pay and display car park by St Agnes Library and some on road parking nearby. Marshals will be stationed at the sports club car park.
The event uses chip timing with placings awarded using gun to chip time. Timing chips are ankle worn and must be returned after the race. First 300 entries will be guaranteed an event medal.
For safety and series rules, personal audio devices are banned while running. Dogs, wheelchairs, wheeled carriages and cycles are not permitted and competitors cannot be accompanied or followed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
