Aeronaut Brewing Co. 5K Beer Run
This is an untimed, approximately 5 kilometer fun run that starts and ends at Aeronaut Brewing Company in Somerville, MA. Participants may run, walk, or jog at their own pace. The event is presented by the Massachusetts Brewery Running Series.
The course uses public roads and sidewalks through neighborhoods near the brewery. Routes are marked with arrows and participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and being aware of their surroundings. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with care, although dogs are not permitted inside Aeronaut per Somerville regulations.
Registration includes one craft beverage from Aeronaut Brewing Company, a choice of a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item, and access to onsite festivities and giveaways. Registered participants under 21 receive a token for a non alcoholic beverage; a valid ID is required to consume alcohol. There will not be a bag check.
The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine. Registration is limited by the size of the taproom. A portion of proceeds from this event supports local nonprofits; the series reports over $500,000 raised to date. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
