Advocates See Me 5K Run, Walk, and Roll
The Advocates See Me 5K Run, Walk, and Roll is an event at Hopkinton State Park that emphasizes visibility and dignity for people experiencing mental health and other life challenges. The event aims to challenge stigma, promote well-being, and communicate that those served by Advocates are valued members of the community. Proceeds benefit The Michael Jones Memorial Fund at Advocates.
The course runs on pavement through Hopkinton State Park, includes some rolling hills, and is fully wheelchair accessible. ASL interpreters are confirmed. Participants may walk, run, or roll; strollers, wagons, and manual wheelchairs are welcome. For safety, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, racing wheelchairs, and racing handcycles are not permitted. The 1-mile course is untimed.
Distances:
- 5K Run/Walk/Roll
- 1 Mile Run/Walk/Roll (untimed)
- Kids Fun Run (50 yard and 100 yard options)
The event offers individual prizes for overall top finishers by gender category (male, female, non-binary) and age-group prizes for listed age brackets. There are also four team prize categories: Biggest Fundraisers, Fastest 5K Team, Most Creative Team Name, and Most Team Spirit. Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 250 registrants; additional shirts are distributed based on registration date. Registration fees vary by event and registration period.
