Dover Dash 5K & Fun Run
The Dover Dash 5K & Fun Run is scheduled for September 19, 2026 in Dover, Massachusetts. Races start and finish by the American Legion in downtown Dover at 32 Dedham Street. The event benefits the Dover Sherborn Cross Country team and is presented in its 11th year with intentionally low entry fees.

The 5K is intended for participants aged 8 and older. Organizers describe the course as runner-friendly and safe. Registration for the 5K opens July 30, 2026 and closes September 18, 2026; the entry fee is $10.
The 0.4 mile Fun Run is a loop on the road and sidewalks around the Town Hall green, designed for children aged 2 to 9. That run has no timing and no prizes, and parents may run or walk with their child. Registration for the Fun Run opens July 30, 2026 and closes September 18, 2026; the event is free. At the finish, participants in the Fun Run receive a freeze pop from a cross country team member.
