Adventure Awaits - Running Wild Three Mile Trail Run
County biologists lead a three mile trail run that travels through the sandy scrub of Juno Dunes Natural Area. Participants meet at Bert Winters Park in Juno Beach and then cross Ellison Wilson Road to access the trails on the south tract of Juno Dunes.
The event is organized by the PBC Department of Environmental Resources Management (ERM). The meeting location is Bert Winters Park, 13425 Ellison Wilson Road, Juno Beach, FL 33408. Bathroom facilities are available at Bert Winters Park.
Water will be provided at the start. Participants are advised to bring extra water and a personal water bottle. Suggested items include a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Pets and unsupervised children are not allowed.
The run takes place on sandy, scrubby trails; the description notes these surfaces as more challenging than paved paths. The format is in person and led by county staff familiar with the natural area. The listing identifies the event duration as two hours and indicates an offline, on-site gathering at the park.
