This event is the July stop of a four-race summer series held at Clermont Waterfront Park in Clermont, Florida. The series runs monthly from June through September and features themed race days; the July theme is Patriotic Yeti.
The July 12, 2026 event offers multiple race formats at the same venue. Distances and formats listed for this event include:
- 5K Run: 3.1 miles along Lake Minneola trail
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 0.25 mi, Bike 8.2 mi, Run 3.1 mi
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 1 mi, Bike 8.2 mi, Run 3.1 mi
- Sprint Aquabike: Swim 0.25 mi, Bike 8.2 mi
- Sprint Aquathlon: Swim 0.25 mi, Run 3.1 mi
- Double Sprint Triathlon: two consecutive sprint triathlon courses
- Double Sprint Duathlon: two consecutive sprint duathlon courses
- Double Sprint Aquabike: repeated swim and bike sprint sequence
- Team relay and virtual event options are also available
The 2026 program introduces double sprint options that repeat the sprint course back to back. The series is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event and is included in the 2026 USA Triathlon State Championship Pilot Program in Florida. Eligibility for state championship recognition requires completion of at least three USAT sanctioned triathlons in Florida and a Florida USAT membership address.
