AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon Series
The AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon Series Event #2 takes place at Clermont Waterfront Park. This multisport event features a themed "Patriotic Yeti" experience and offers a wide variety of race formats along the scenic Lake Minneola trail. Participants can choose between several physical race options or a virtual race with domestic shipping in the United States.
Athletes may select from the following event categories:
- 5K Run/Walk: A 3.1 mile distance.
- Sprint Triathlon: A 0.25 mile swim, 8.2 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run.
- Sprint Duathlon: A 1 mile run, 8.2 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run.
- Sprint Aquabike: A 0.25 mile swim and an 8.2 mile bike.
- Sprint Aquathlon: A 0.25 mile swim followed by a 3.1 mile run.
- Double Sprint Triathlon: Two consecutive loops of the sprint course.
- Double Sprint Duathlon: A 1 mile run followed by two sets of biking and running.
- Double Sprint Aquabike: Two consecutive loops of the aquabike course.
The event includes a specialized Sprint Triathlon High School Student Challenge for participants aged 14 to 19. These athletes compete in a specific wave rather than standard age group categories. Awards are provided for the top five male and female finishers in this specific challenge. Relay options are also available for both standard and double triathlon distances.
