AdventHealth Clermont Freedom 5K
The AdventHealth Clermont Freedom 5K is an Independence Day event in Downtown Clermont, Florida. It takes place on July 4, 2026, and is the seventh edition of the race. The start is at Clermont City Hall and the finish is at Suncreek Brewery, one block away.
Two events are offered:
- Freedom Live Run / Walk, an in-person event.
- Virtual Freedom Run / Walk 5k, with a virtual participation option available until August 18, 2026.
Packet pick-up is available at Dash Sports on July 2nd and 3rd, or on race morning at the start area. Race entry includes chip timing, a gender-specific running tank, a finisher's medal, access to the finish line area at the brewery, and post-race snacks and beverages.
A costume contest with patriotic themes has categories for best female, male, and team costumes. An awards ceremony features categories for overall, masters, grand masters, and five-year age group winners. The unique awards are living art pieces created by the presenting sponsor.
Parking is available in public lots in downtown Clermont. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back. Dogs are not allowed on the course, with an exception for pre-approved service dogs. Donations from the event benefit the Code 4 Initiative, a nonprofit supporting Florida law enforcement families in crisis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
