AdventHealth Clermont Freedom 5K
The event takes place on July 4, 2027 in Downtown Clermont, Florida, with a course that starts by Clermont City Hall and finishes near Suncreek Brewery. It offers both an in-person and a virtual 5K option, each covering 3.1 Miles (5K).
Registration windows and fees differ by option. The live Freedom Live Run / Walk opens registration in October 2026 and has a listed registration fee of $35. The Virtual Freedom Run / Walk opens earlier and has a listed registration fee of $45; virtual entries may be completed any time and results may be submitted up to two weeks after the live race date. Virtual packets are shipped within two weeks after the race and cannot be shipped outside the United States. Virtual registrations cannot be modified, transferred, or refunded after purchase except for a transfer into the live race before race day.
Race entries include chip timing, a gender-specific running tank, and a custom finisher's medal. Post-race refreshments and access to the finish area near local breweries are part of the live event experience. Packet pickup is handled in advance at a local store in Clermont with additional race morning pickup available.
The event includes age group and overall awards, team pricing with group discounts, a costume contest with multiple categories, and donations benefiting the Code 4 Initiative, a 501c3 nonprofit supporting Florida law enforcement families.
