Adirondack Health Turkey Trot : Lake Placid, NY
The Adirondack Health Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 in Lake Placid, New York. The event is a flat 5K walk/run around Mirror Lake, with start and finish at the Beach House located at 31 Parkside Drive, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Local Food Pantry and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Scholarship Fund. Registered participants receive a long sleeve Turkey Trot t-shirt. Online registration opens March 20, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026; the published registration fee is $25, and a day of registration fee is listed as $45.
Packet pick up and bib distribution are available on November 25 at the Beach House and also on the day of the event at the Beach House. Children age 10 and under may run, walk, or stroll for free and will receive a bib at packet pick up; all children 10 and under receive a prize at the finish. Participants are asked to bring three or more non-perishable food items for donation.
Awards are given to first, second, and third overall male and female finishers. There is also a special award for participants who beat the mystery Turkey Runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
