Adirondack Health 5k Turkey Trot 2026
Adirondack Health presents the 17th annual Turkey Trot, a flat 5K walk/run held at the Beach House in Lake Placid, New York. The course runs around Mirror Lake and is organized as a community event with charitable beneficiaries.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Local Food Pantry and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Scholarship Fund. Registered participants receive a long-sleeve Turkey Trot t-shirt. Participants are asked to bring three or more non-perishable food items for donation.
Pre-event packet pick-up and bib and shirt distribution are scheduled for the day before the race at the Beach House and there is additional packet pick-up on race day at the Beach House. Advance registration opens March 20, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026. The listed advance registration fee is $25.00. Day-of registration is available at the Beach House for $45.00 per individual.
Awards are planned for first, second and third overall male and female finishers. There is also a special award associated with beating the mystery Turkey Runner. Children aged 10 and under may participate free and will receive a bib at packet pick-up; children who are registered in advance may receive a Turkey Trot t-shirt.
