Adams County Foster Care 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run : Brighton, CO
The Adams County Foster Care 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run takes place on May 2, 2026, at Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton, Colorado. This is the event's eleventh annual running at the park, which is also home to the Adams County Fair.
The program includes multiple distance options:

- 1 mile fun run
Event entries are organized into categories such as adult 5K, students and youth 18 and under, family registrations (up to five family members at the same address), and foster family registrations (up to five family members at the same address). Proceeds from the Foster Care 5K benefit the Foster Families of Adams County.
Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers. The 5K course runs through Riverdale Regional Park. Registration fees for the 5K include a T-shirt for pre-registrants and, while supplies last, for post-registrants; the fee also covers access to multiple water stops and a post-race goodie bag.
