Memorial Suicide Awareness 5K
This memorial 5K takes place on September 26, 2026, on the Salish Kootenai College campus in Pablo, Montana. The event is presented as an annual gathering to honor a community member and to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health support.
The day features two separate 5K races, one held in the morning and one held in the afternoon, with a program of activities between races. Organized activities include guest speakers, mental health and wellness resources, community resource booths, giveaways and participant swag, and food vendors. The race route travels through the college campus and highlights the surrounding landscape of the Flathead Reservation.
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. Registration opens June 1, 2026, and closes September 1, 2026, with a registration fee of $25. Proceeds from registrations, donations, and sponsorships support a memorial scholarship fund intended to benefit future students.
