Across Wales Walk

Website Registration

The Across Wales Walk is a classic challenge walking event held annually, now in its 62nd year. It features a demanding 45-mile linear route across Wales, starting at Anchor Bridge on the English border near Clun, Shropshire, and finishing at Clarach Bay near Aberystwyth on the Welsh coast. Participants have up to 18 hours to complete the course, which traverses diverse terrain including tarmac, rough tracks, forest, farmland, moorland, and bog, with the highest point at Plynlimon (2,467 ft) in the Cambrian Mountains.

The event offers a full weekend package with accommodation, transport, refreshments, and a presentation ceremony, attracting both walkers and runners seeking a serious endurance challenge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
