Across Wales Walk

Website

Now in its sixty-second year, The Across Wales Walk is a 45-mile linear challenge from the English border at Anchor near Clun, Shropshire, to the Welsh coast at Clarach Bay near Aberystwyth. Described as a classic of the challenge walking calendar, it is open to walkers and runners with an 18-hour time limit. The weekend package includes pre-event accommodation in Clun, coach transfer to the start, route refreshments, luggage transfer to Aberystwyth, university accommodation at the finish, breakfast, and a presentation ceremony with return coach to Clun.

The route traverses varied terrain including Plynlimon, the Cambrian Mountains' highest point, combining paths, tracks, and open country. It is not a race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
