Achilles Long Island 8K/4K
Achilles Long Island 8K/4K takes place on November 15, 2026 at Jones Beach, Field 5, Wantagh, NY. The event offers timed running and walking options on an out-and-back course, with a two-lap out-and-back format for the 8K.
Registration includes options for the following distances:
- 4K Run/Walk
- 8K Run/Walk with a cutoff of 1 hour 40 minutes
Registration fees vary by registration date and include processing charges. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registrants who sign up at least three weeks before the event can request a personalized bib. Last-minute registrants can receive their bib number by text shortly after registration. Live online, email, and text results are provided, and finish line photos are available free of charge on the same day.
Awards are presented to top finishers by gender designation across standard age groups and in adaptive and equipment categories, including ambulatory AWD, lower limb loss (ambulatory), mobility impaired, visually impaired, and handcycle and push rim wheelchair divisions.
