Friendsgiving 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Whittier Narrows
The Friendsgiving race takes place on November 15, 2026 at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte, California. The event is organized by A Better World Running and features marked out and back loops on the park trail. The course is open to other trail users and participants are asked to be courteous to pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.

Course layout and aid: the 5k is an out and back route; the 10k is two 5k loops; the 15k is three 5k loops; the half marathon is three 4.36 mile out and back segments. An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, live results at finish, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an event app for results and media, and a selection of snacks and samples. Transfers are handled only through the organizer and there is a no refund policy.
