Wildflower Riverside
The Wildflower event takes place in Riverside at Ryan Bonaminio Park. This event offers a variety of distances held on a shared path within the Inland Empire region. The course is designed as a series of out and back loops on a marked path. Participants should be aware that this is an open course, meaning they will share the space with other pedestrians and cyclists.
The following distances are available:
- 5 km (one out and back route)
- 10 km (two 5 km loops)
- 15 km (three 5 km loops)
- Half Marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
The half marathon has a time limit of 3:15, though early starts can be arranged by contacting the organizers if more time is required. An aid station is located at the turn around point near the start and finish area, providing water, Gatorade, and gels. Restroom facilities are available in the park, situated approximately 200-300 meters from the check-in area.
All registered participants receive a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, and access to free photos and videos of the event. Snacks and samples are also provided. Results are typically posted online within 12 to 24 hours after the conclusion of the races. While running with dogs is not permitted, participants are allowed to use strollers. Free parking is available in the park lot and on Tequesquite Avenue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
