Rockin Shamrock 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach
The event offers multiple road/trail distances held on the Long Beach shoreline path in Belmont Shores, at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course uses marked out-and-back loops on the beach path and is an open course; participants are asked to be courteous to pedestrians, other runners, and cyclists.
Distances offered:
- 5 km
- 10 km (two 5 km loops)
- 15 km (three 5 km loops)
- Half marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Timing is electronic with chip timing and live results provided when a runner finishes. Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos tied to bibs, free videos and cinematic race highlight reels, age group awards, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, and an app to track races, photos, and videos. The organizer also provides an Ascend Index ranking and Ascend Crew features.
Registration options include online and race-day payment methods. Race-day fees are listed for each distance. Group discounts apply for groups of three or more and larger group arrangements can be made with the organizer. Transfers are handled by the organizer and there is a no refund policy.
