Long Beach Legacy Triathlon 2026

The Long Beach Legacy Triathlon is a multi-sport event held in Long Beach, California. The competition takes place on July 19, 2026, and features a course that includes a Pacific Ocean swim and a beachfront bike segment. The event offers several distances to accommodate different experience levels, including individual and relay options for all categories.

Participants can choose from the following race distances:

  • SuperSprint: 400m swim, 10km bike, and 2.5km run.
  • Sprint: 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run.
  • Olympic: 1.5km swim, 40km bike, and 10km run.

The Sprint distance also includes a category for paratriathlon participants. In addition to individual and relay entries, the event features a Corporate Challenge across all three distances. This program allows businesses to form teams, build camaraderie, and participate in fundraising efforts for Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), specifically supporting pediatric cancer research at the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute.

All registered participants receive a finisher medal, a T-shirt, and professional timing services. Attendees can also visit the event's expo experience. The course is described as fast and accessible for those new to the sport, while providing the standard distances required for seasoned triathletes.
