ABWR Summer Breeze Event
The ABWR Summer Breeze is a multi-distance running and walking event located in Long Beach, California. Organized by A Better World Running, the event takes place on the Long Beach path in Belmont Shores. The course is situated at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, with the check-in area positioned near 54th Place at the start of the beach path.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Half Marathon
The 5k course follows an out and back route. The 10k and 15k distances consist of two and three loops of the 5k course, respectively. The Half Marathon follows a different configuration, utilizing three loops of a 4.36-mile circuit. There is a 3:15 time limit for the Half Marathon distance.
The course features numerous restrooms and water fountains along the path. Results are recorded for all participants and are typically published online within 12 to 24 hours after the event. All finishers receive a medal. Registration include drawstring goodie bags, an assortment of snacks, and access to free digital photos and videos.
