Echo Park Lotus Run
The Echo Park Lotus Run takes place at the historic Echo Park in Los Angeles. This event coincides with the final day of the Lotus Festival, an annual celebration of Asian Pacific cultures held when the lotus flowers are in bloom. The race is organized by Aztlan Athletics in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks programs.
The event features the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk (no shirt)
- Top Dog Division (Love Your Pet)
The course covers roads inside and along the perimeter of the park, including partial street closures on Park and Echo Park Avenue. Runners are chip timed and should line up according to their expected pace. Two water stations are available on the route, one at the halfway mark and another at the finish line.
Participants who select a registration option with a shirt receive a commemorative premium T-shirt. All participants receive a die-cast finisher medallion and a commemorative bib. A refresh zone and first aid support are provided on-site. Participation is limited to the first 1000 registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
