Event overview
The Echo Park Lotus Run is a community 5K run/walk held in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, 2026, and is presented in partnership with Aztlan Athletics, the Lotus Festival and the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks programs. This is the second annual Lotus Flower 5K run/walk and registration is limited to the first 1,000 participants. Standard registration includes a commemorative premium T-shirt, a die cast finisher medallion, a commemorative bib and access to a refresh zone. There are also no-shirt entry options and a pet division called Top Dog (Love Your Pet Division).
Logistics and course
The course uses roads inside and on the perimeter of historic Echo Park, with partial street closures on Park and Echo Park Avenue. Two water stations are provided on the route: at the halfway point and at the finish/start area. A roving first aid team will cover the main portion of the 5K and a first aid station will be available in the main expo area. Packet pick-up is available at Echo Park, 751 Echo Park Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90026 on the day of the event. Parking and shuttle arrangements are provided through Lotus Festival partners.
