Lucky 8 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon in Long Beach
This event takes place in Long Beach at 5400 E Ocean Blvd and offers multiple measured running and walking distances along the beach path in Belmont Shores. The organizer posts official results and provides free event photography and video after the event. Participants receive custom finisher medals and drawstring goodie bags and can expect an assortment of snacks and samples at the venue.
Course details include multiple loop and out-and-back options. Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back
- 10k via two 5k loops
- 15k via three 5k loops
- Half marathon via three 4.36 mile loops; 3:15 time limit for half marathon
There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course, and running or walking with a stroller is allowed. Pacers and crew are permitted. Group discounts are available for groups of five or more; contact the organizer for details. Official finishers’ names and times are posted on the organizer’s results page within about 12 to 24 hours of the event.
