Event Information
The Hot to Trot event takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. It is an open course run on shared dirt trails. Participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and equestrians.
The following distances are offered:
- 5k - out and back route
- 10k - two 5k loops
- 15k - three 5k loops
- Half Marathon - three 4.36-mile loops
A course map is provided online. The course is marked with cones and signs. An aid station at the start/finish turn-around point provides water, Gatorade, and Gu gels.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, and an assortment of snacks. Results are posted on the website within 12-24 hours of the event. Group discounts are available for five or more people.
The half marathon has a 3 hour, 15 minute time limit. Bib pickup is from 6:45 AM. There is a no refund policy, but transfers to a later date or another participant are possible by request.
Pricing varies by date. Early bird pricing (one month before race) is $26.99 for the 5k, $30.99 for the 10k, $36.99 for the 15k, and $40.99 for the half marathon. Race month prices are slightly higher, and race day registration is available on-site.
